I made the executive decision not to book anything and take my chances with the waiting list (which isn't open yet, and probably won't be until cabin sales are opened to the public tomorrow). There's also a small chance that StarVista is holding what's left of the single cabins until they can be listed to the general public. I'm not optimistic that I'm going to get on this particular cruise, but life has taught me that anything can happen.
The Ship
It's very interesting that you experienced (and survived) both.. The annual cruise sailed from Miami to Aruba and Curacao March 14 – 21 with more than 2,000 music enthusiasts onboard. We have not missed a single sailing of this music cruise since it was started in 2017 (it did not sail in 2021 due to Covid). Though certain artists remained out of reach, others could be seen freely roaming the decks and open to selfies and conversation. Special guest Barry Williams, of Brady Bunch fame, was as amiable as one might expect, and he made it clear from day one that he wasn’t camera shy or adverse to seizing on the ’70s nostalgia.

I've done a fair number of cruises so far (16 plus two booked for this year). I've sailed to just about every port in the Caribbean and I'm little bored with it, but I don't really want to go to any other region at this point. Part of my tastes can also be assigned to my parents, sort of.
The vibe is friendly; this cruise is, after all, marketed as the "Feel Good Party at Sea."
